Well, wouldn't you know it ... the first forum question I got was a phone call. Yes, Bowley and I were gay, NOT THAT THERE'S ANYTHING WRONG WITH THAT - but that was back in the days when it meant something else. Happy and gay, footloose and fancy free, giggly, you know.... Now that were older and have been seeing each other more often for these reunions, we rethinking it. Jimmy Gray may have more to say about it.

We never had a gay band member... at least not that I was aware of... and for John and John to turn gay now?!? No way! They would have done it when they were young and good-looking... :)

Of course they WERE gay; how else could they have stood each other being that physically close to one another for so many years? And did you notice their preoccupation with "penises" and "dickheads"? Definitely a giveaway.  Are they gay now? Definitely not, according to their wifes. But hey,  who's to say  they won't  be gay another day? This is truly a conundrum deserving ponderous examination...

Hey wilson thanks for the cd have all eight now. The best traveling through west Texas music I ever listened to. When is the next show waiting.

I had an older woman come up to me at the last Poor David's reunion and ask if I remembered the aquarium at the end of my bed in a house on Daniel in University Park. This would've been circa 1973-75. Bought it from Joe & Linda King at King's Pets in Old Town (which had only been open a few years). It was huge (the aquarium) - full of tropical wonders - looked great all lit up at night. As I told Jenni, no ... I don't know what she was talking about.
